Blueprints

This collection of blueprints has emerged from a series of interviews with makerspaces and other organisations that play a role in local production ecosystems. Each one may be used as a business model in its own right, or they may be combined in many different ways. Each blueprint suggests others which may be complementary.
Creating shared access to a community and/or other assets (space and equipment)
Manufacturing and selling products, including machines, in your own name
Sharing knowledge and supporting others to develop skills, ranging from hands-on machine usage to soft skills like CV writing.
Providing access to machines, tools, or other equipment for individuals or businesses to use
Using your expertise to perform tasks that deliver a service for others
Organising events and fun activities where the focus is on the experience, and learning happens along the way
